VCM was awarded this $180MM EPCM contract with Terra Grain Fuels to construct this 450 Million Litres/Year wheat-based ethanol facility. Project highlights included a peak workforce of 150 tradespeople with 150 as VCM staff requiring approximately 144 person years of construction employment. It also utilized leading edge process technology including zero process effluent, energy efficient ring dryers for the distiller grains, and integral energy recycling technology.

We are extremely proud of our safety record on this project with virtually negligable lost time incidents.

Other project statistics included 16,700 square meters of building infrastructure, 9,000 cubic meters of concrete, 1,020 tonnes of structural steel, 16,200 lineal meters of large diameter process piping, over 100 kilometers of electrical cabling, and with over 13,500 connected horsepower of process technology load.
